Applied bachelor’s degree providing a solid foundation in financial and cost accounting, preparation of financial statements, introduction to auditing, business law, taxation, and corporate finance.
Work & Experience
Lead audit reviews across 20+ subsidiaries, testing transactions, balances and supporting documents. Prepare and review group financial statements, assess internal controls, report control weaknesses to management, and coordinate with statutory auditors.
Internal audit of purchasing, sales and general ledger cycles: transaction testing, reconciliations and cut-off checks. Reviewed monthly closings, identified control weaknesses and documented improved procedures.
Examined procurement and payment vouchers for compliance with U.S. federal regulations, vouching each transaction to supporting documents and correcting anomalies before payment.
