About Candidate
Dear Hiring Manager,
With over 20 years of robust professional experience in internal audit, internal control, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), and corporate finance, I am writing to formally submit my application for the Audit Manager position within your organization.
My career spans leading organizations such as Sorfert Algérie (a subsidiary of OCI & Sonatrach), the international accounting firm BDO, Ooredoo, and Unilever. This dual background—built both within a top-tier audit firm (BDO) and inside major multinational industrial and service corporations—grants me a comprehensive, strategic, and highly operational vision of corporate governance.
Currently serving as the Audit, Internal Control, and Compliance Manager at Sorfert, I oversee complex control environments on a daily basis. My expertise relies on a strict mastery of international frameworks and specialized certifications:
Governance & Risk Management: Certified PECB Lead Risk Manager ISO 31000, Lead Auditor ISO 9001, and trained in COSO I & II frameworks (Protiviti Doha) as well as ERM (Kuwait).
Compliance & Regulation: Driving compliance with SOX requirements, preparing yearly ICFR reports, managing the implementation of data privacy laws (Law 18-07), and supervising ESG reporting alongside periodic cybersecurity audits.
Team Leadership & Legal Audit: Managing audit teams and coordinating closely with statutory and shareholder auditors, while also serving as Secretary of the Board of Directors.
Beyond my risk management capabilities, my background includes successful tenures as a Financial Director (CFO) and Regional Finance Responsible. This solid technical foundation allows me to interface effectively with financial departments, streamline ERP parameters, and tangibly improve the quality of financial information. Holding a Master’s degree in Public Management and being fully trilingual in English, French, and Arabic, I am well-equipped to lead multicultural teams toward operational excellence.
Joining your company as an Audit Manager represents a valuable opportunity to leverage my leadership, integrity, and technical expertise to secure your operations and optimize your business processes.
I welcome the opportunity to discuss my application further during an interview, where I can detail the concrete value I will bring to your department.
