• Prepare and submit monthly financial reporting packages, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with Group reporting requirements and deadlines. • Perform monthly closing activities, including the calculation and posting of journal entries for accruals, provisions, payroll, and other reporting adjustments. • Record and reconcile monthly revenues and production-related expenses based on production status and supporting operational data. • Prepare and review accounting reconciliations, including bank reconciliations against the trial balance, and investigate and resolve discrepancies. • Assist the CFO in the preparation of periodic budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting documents, including analysis of actual results versus budget and forecast. • Support Group Controllers in reporting and financial control activities, providing accurate financial information and explanations on significant variances. • Contribute to the Group reporting and consolidation process, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of financial data submitted to the Group. • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns, ensuring compliance with applicable tax regulations and filing deadlines. • Assist external auditors during statutory audit engagements, including preparation of audit schedules, supporting documentation, and responses to audit queries. • Ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial data across different reporting platforms and systems. • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to collect, validate, and reconcile financial information required for reporting and management purposes. • Perform intercompany reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and ensure consistency of intercompany balances between entities. • Prepare and post intercompany elimination entries as part of the Group reporting and consolidation process. • Contribute to the preparation of cash-flow reporting, including the analysis and reconciliation of cash movements and key cash-flow items.
