Maintain an orderly and neat stock and receiving area as well as the general maintenance of the store, ensuring merchandise is properly price labeled. Participate in all inventory and cycle counts, stock take. Monitor the accuracy of receiving, transfers, damages, and returns-to-vendor to brands to maintain the accuracy of the inventory. Oversee compliance with all store opening/closing and security procedures Ensure that adequate security exists and that physical facilities comply with safety codes and ordinances. Maintain inventory in an efficient, clean, secure and organized fashion. Support sales staff when merchandise is needed that is in stock but not on the sales floor. Initiated IMR (internal material request) documents for releasing items from stores to project which reduced discrepancies and improved transparency on inventories. Built a strong bond, trust and maintained the company's reputation by creating an environment that suits different groups of people and cultures by understanding the needs of each customer independently. Innovatively established sub-warehouses within the main warehouse to simplify material handling and increase profitability. Implemented ERP system (JD Edward 9.1) in warehouse which interconnects with finance department and has reduced delay of inventory flow by 40%. Reviewed all data entries of the main warehouse and project stores using ERP system such as (GRN) goods receipt note, inventory transfer and inventory issuance. Auditing project stores quarterly and recommending area of improvement. Trained warehouse staff in the effective handling of materials and integrating best practices, significantly reducing accidents by implementing a safe material removal system (for hazardous materials), resulting in increased warehouse personnel security.
