SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
Implement the strategy of billing & collection set by the Customer Service Department Manager.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
• Professional qualification in accounting & finance is a must i.e., ACCA, CPA ,ACA….
• More than 12 years of experience in accounting & finance, experience in utilities is an added advantage.
• Evidence of Continued Professional Development
• Computer skills including proficiency in common word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation programs.
• Well organized and leadership skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to cope with crises and difficult situations.
• Mastery of written and spoken English and Arabic.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Team leader player.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Organizing and directing the work of Secondees professionally.
• Reviews the breakdown of customer information.
• Supports and manages the implementation of initiatives, previously reviewed by the customer service department to
enhance the productivity of CSD.
• Liaises periodically with the records at different business units to review their accounting data information so to
verify balances and financial requirements going forward.
• Advises CSD Manager on operational performance of business units and create an overall picture for the executive
team monthly or as required by them.
• Provides support, training, and information to CSD new joining accountants/consultants regarding accounting,
book-keeping, control etc. to ensure alignment with strategic plans set out by the Organization and any policy
changes which might affect them.
• Conducts financial data reviews to ensure reliability of figures that are generated from the accounting system.
• Oversees aspects of the monthly accounting closing activities required from the accounts section.
• Ensures monitoring and collection of payment or collection terms.
• Reviews & provide advice related to customer accounts.
• Review the policies & recommending the required enhancement to enhance the services.
• Management and ad hoc reporting.
• Cooperate with other related departments/sections to maintain AR – accurate data base.
• Leading the development activities and communicate the requirements to the concerned department.
