Job Description
About the Role:
We are looking for a highly experienced Legal Expert to join our team at Yasser Haikal Auditing & Accounting. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing legal advisory, drafting policies and contracts, and ensuring compliance with Qatari laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, memorandums of understanding, and organizational policies.
- Provide specialized legal advice on administrative decisions, regulatory compliance, and institutional governance.
- Interpret and apply Qatari laws and regulations, particularly in areas related to procurement, labour law, and administrative rules.
- Prepare legal memoranda, opinions, and formal responses to government entities and external parties.
- Support institutional governance by ensuring alignment with national legal frameworks and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with government authorities and semi-governmental organizations on legal and compliance matters.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of professional legal experience, including proven expertise in contract drafting, memorandums of understanding, and organizational policies.
- Strong knowledge of Qatari laws and regulations, especially in procurement and labour law.
- Excellent legal writing and analytical skills.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English is mandatory.
- Must be currently residing in Qatar.
