In line with our mission to provide trusted auditing and financial advisory services, we are seeking to appoint a highly accomplished Senior Financial Expert to join our distinguished team in Qatar.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; a Master’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or any related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of proven experience in financial accounting.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or IPSAS.
- Strong ability to prepare payment and journal vouchers and monitor support account balances.
- Experience in preparing monthly and annual financial reports.
- Proficiency in preparing daily journal entries and bank reconciliations.
- Solid experience in ERP systems with hands-on knowledge of GL, AP, and AR modules.
- Ability to prepare financial statements in accordance with international standards.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English (spoken and written).
- Must be a resident of Qatar and legally eligible to work in the country.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations and ensure accurate accounting records.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow management.
- Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and relevant regulations.
- Supervise the preparation of journal entries, vouchers, and account reconciliations.
- Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to management and clients.
- Support audit engagements and liaise with internal and external auditors.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial systems, controls, and processes.
