Decision Support Analyst

Job Description

General Role
Provides analytical support to government leadership by evaluating data, forecasting outcomes, and guiding strategic
decisions.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct scenario analysis and predictive modeling for policy planning.
• Prepare decision briefs and impact assessments for executive review.
• Integrate financial, operational, and strategic data into decision models.
• Support inter-ministerial working groups with analytical expertise.
• Monitor key performance indicators and recommend improvements.

Required Experience
• Minimum 15+ years of experience in decision support or strategic analysis, including at least 3 years in a role
within a Qatari government entity within the State of Qatar.
• Experience in building and validating decision models using financial, operational, and strategic data.
• Proficiency in planning tools and techniques.
• Background in economic modeling or cost-benefit analysis for government-funded initiatives.
• Experience in crisis management analytics or contingency planning.
• Strong presentation and storytelling skills for executive-level briefings.
• Familiarity with integrated planning systems and enterprise performance management tools.
• Bilingual proficiency (Arabic and English) is a must.
